2 Chainz & LaBron- Rap or Go to The League
We just hit three months into 2019 and we've finally hit it the tip with none other than 2 Chainz coming with an album "A&R'd" by none-other-than LaBron James.
Coming through as an underdog in Hip Hop it was almost unexpected by distant viewers, but for those who know... well you know. Titty Boy has been on it for years, and althought he is only claiming this title rightfully so within recent years he has been a creative leader for over a decade. Rap or Go to the League really puts icing on the cake to solidify 2 Chainz as a lyricist. Although he's made an impact culturally from his Vice show Most Expensivist and the celebrity profile to match many question his catalog to support him being a strong MC. We needed this album, and it came through right in time. Athough he's been going hard in the game since 2009 it wasn't until Pretty Girls Like Trap Music that we quantified the 2 Chainz trademark flow to stardom.
The project featured contributions from Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Chance The Rapper, E-40, Kodak Black, Pharrel Williams, Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign, Marsha Ambrosius, wondaGURL, 9th Wonder, DJ Mustard, Mike Dean, Dem Jointz, 30Roc, DA Honorable C.N.O.T.E., Datboizqueeze, Fki 1st, B Clark, Buddah Bless, ATL Jacob, and more.
